On Writing: As a Writer and an Actress: The Money Side of Things

Hey!!

For those of you who don't know, most writers don't make much money, and ditto for actors. So, if I'm choosing to do both of those things, how the F am I going to pay bills/eat? You're going to have to get ANOTHER job, now, you must think I'm crazy, how am I going to juggle being an actress, a writer, and having a "real" job? Graphic Media. In college I plan on majoring in Graphic Media Design, minoring in Performing Arts, and taking a few English composition and writing classes. Which is probably going to kill me.

Some of my other friends who plan on being Performing Artists are going to Major in accounting (blegh) or business (I thought about this one), and minoring in the Performing arts.

You need to do what's right for you, but I recommend that you pick something you enjoy as your fallback.

Emma Stone

Hey!

Today I'm going to talk about my obssesion with Emma Stone. And when I say obsession, I mean obsession. I've seen every movie she's been in, which I know hasn't been many, but for me to go see a movie just because a certain person's in it, that's quite the event. I've never really been one to have a favorite actor/actress, which is weird because most people who want to act have a favorite actor or actress, my interest in acting has nothing to do with famous people. Anyway, back to Emma Stone. I love her, she has great comedic timing and she looks amazing as a redhead, I'm still working on liking her as a blond, her skin tone just doesn't look good with  blond hair, but I'll probably still go see "The Help" because I love her and the story looks good. I'm going to get the book and read it first though, so I can do a compare and contrast for you guys.

Highschool: DAPA

How many of you are starting highschool or going into your next year of highschool? A lot of you? Just what I thought. How many of you are terrified? I definately am. On August 22nd I will be starting a senior year of highschool, and i am completely terrified. I'm so not ready to grow up and everytime somebody brings up college I walk away and pretend I can't here them. So, in an attempt to distract myself from my impending senior year, I'm going to focus on the past three years (I think this is going to be counterproductive, oh well).

I go to a small performing arts school, it's not even four years old yet, but I'm so proud of this school, we have been through so much. The school is a little different from our grading scale to dancing and singing in the hallway (like Glee except less lame).
